The John and Thady Gosden-trained Running Lion could bid to repeat her 2024 success.
The Clarehaven team have also entered 2023 Queen Mary heroine Crimson Advocate and Rainbows Edge, who carries the colours of the King and Queen.

Elmalka won the Newmarket 1,000 Guineas last season, while Soprano won the Sandringham Stakes over course and distance at the meeting 12 months ago.
Karl Burke was the man to follow in last year’s Royal Ascot juvenile ranks—Shareholder showing a clean pair of heels in the Norfolk. Matching that haul in 2025 won’t be straightforward, but the Spigot Lodge team once again looks stacked with two-year-old talent.
Chief among them appears to be Zelaina, who heads for the Queen Mary with strong credentials and no shortage of confidence behind her. She tops a Burke juvenile squad that is, by any measure, loaded.
But it won’t just be the youngsters carrying big expectations.
Fallen Angel, last year’s Group 1-winning filly, lines up in the Duke of Cambridge on the Wednesday, and her trainer is bullish after a pleasing seasonal return in the Lockinge.
🗣️ “We went there expecting she'd come on for it, and she’s done exactly that,” Burke said. “We were delighted with the run, and she’s come out of it spot on. She’s sharpened up since and, on what she’s shown, you'd hope she’ll be the one they all have to beat.”
With Royal Ascot just days away, Burke’s string is once again looking loaded with live chances—and if history repeats, few will be surprised.
Cinderella’s Dream, who was an emphatic winner of the Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket in the spring for Charlie Appleby, and George Boughey’s high-class filly Soprano, who won the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last year and returns on the back of Listed success, are also in the mix.
